Steve - Unless you're planning to do a lot of track days 2 sets if CR322s will be fine for a season.

I know lots of the guys have 2, 3 or even 4 sets ofwheels and tyres, but you honestly dont need to. I had one set for the year and they still have plenty of tread left on them (I think enough for another 2 track days and races in all honesty). Your call obviously, but you really dont need them in my experience

Thanks for the advice chaps - Alex certainly did do well with just one set 😶‍🌫️ but I'm going to need a lot more practice to be anywhere near the front 😳

 

I will be using the car a lot and doing a few trackdays, my plan was to have a new set for wet, an 'every day' set on the car and a set for abusing on track days' - probably overkill but in the scheme of things the extra cost won't make a lot of difference.

Very good point Andy, the other car can sit on its slicks and I can use the 4 fronts I have as one of my spare sets so only need 1 more set after all! Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me
