SLR cage / Brooklands screens?

Your brooklands will fit with an SLR cage but you'll need to fit them first and the cage after, as there is no access to the rear (from memory) bolts on the stanchions. I think I decided I'd also have to use countersunk bolts and not the button head allen bolts too. My carbon aero uses the stanchion mounting position with the standard button head bolts but then the carbon is about 3mm thinner than the brooklands stanchions. In any event, I have to remove the cage (about an hour) to remove the aero.

Another thing - when you fit the cage, I'd recommend you replace the suspension turret mounting bolts (the one's with the half depth head) with new bolts. I got full depth head bolts and ran them over the linesher to make them half depth, but with nice "square" heads. I also have an appropriate socket lineshered off to remove the "round" entry on the socket.

See you at the awards?
