keybaud
I managed to snap the toggle off my indicator switch whilst fitting the new gear lever.... The 7 is a '94 DeDion.
Tyrone
Si, I've just replaced mine with a new APEM toggle. I'll stick the old one in the post on Monday if you want it?

Bri, that would be awesome, thanks. If I knew what an APEM toggle was, would I want, sorry need, one?

rj
They are a lot heavier. You can also get a "BRSB" that's a lot lighter than the OEM switch.
Tyrone
Si, I'll stick it in the post tomorrow and it will get you back on the road, but the APEM toggles are a thing of beauty and indicating now has deeply satisfying feel of quality.

And indicating is needed as a safety feature...
Tyrone
No, the replacement of the lights switch was the safety feature, but I couldn't leave the indicator switch not matching the new dip/ main beam and flasher switch could I? Especially when I had an APEM toggle for the fuel pump already! 😬
TobyCoulson
When I got mine I also got the waterproof rings that go with the switch. Probably a must for those who drive in inclement conditions.
Roger Ford
I bought the waterproof covers when I replaced all my toggle and rocker switches with APEM toggles, but I didn't fit them in the end. No problems so far, even in monsoon conditions at Spa.
