Got a few bits for sale as I don't need them any more and am having a constant clearout at the moment! One man's junk is another's treasure and all that...

 

First up, a used silicone top hose in red, which I used on my K-series but Caterham Parts list it as for Vauxhall models also. In good condition, comes with clips, a few marks on the underside but I had no problems at all with it. Selling due to buying a whole new set of SFS hoses in the recent group buy. Non-Caterham, normal Rover sump and oil pickup from an MG TF VVC160 engine. Handy if you want to keep the junk out of your spare engine, for transportation purposes or if you have a vehicle that uses this sort of sump and want to do some baffling or tinkering (Elise, MG ZR, TF, MGF, FWD etc.), £30 inc. postage

A pair of 3rd/4th gear syncro rings for a Type 9 gearbox. Both brand new and I have no idea why I have so many spares! Not sure if they fit the six-speeders. £30 inc. delivery

Early 1400 Supersport linished cam cover with Metro GTi 16v origins. Has a fitting for the breather for the Apollo tank. Bear in mind that it's a tiny bit taller than a standard cam cover. £18 inc. postage (provisionally sold to a possible timewaster on eBay )

Standard full-fat 6.5kgs 36-4 Rover flywheel. Bloody heavy! Probably more useful for folk fitting bigger engines to Metros, but thought I'd try here first just in case anyone is stuck. £18 inc. postage

16mm Y-piece, fitted but never seen coolant. Bought this to do the cooling system modification after reading a recent Low Flying article, stuck it on but I wasn't quite 100% happy with my hoses and their angles, so went for a slightly different setup. Think it was £2.45 new from eBay. £2 inc. postage

K-series coolant submarine, I think that's the right terminology. Fits between the radiator bottom hose and the J-hose and also has a fitting for the header tank. Removed to fit just a straight bit of pipe. Can't find it on Caterham Parts website. It's the black pipe at the top of the picture. £5 inc. postage

 

New and sealed from Caterham speedo drive seal. Part number is 1579860, RRP £3.30. I changed all the (easily accessible) gaskets and seals while I had the box out and had this one as a spare anyway. Cure that gearbox oil dribble! £2 inc. postage

Standard Type 9 gearbox lid and bolts. Got two of these spare as I changed to an alloy lid with breather/filler hole. Useful for modifying and fitting a filler plug/dipstick etc. £10 inc. postage
