pug7
Will they be natural or high polish finish for the stone deflectors? Or either avail? And knowing what Ti is like to drill I hope there pre drilled !
RICHCAT7
Pug, Probably scotchbrite rotary (in line), or maybe a bit of a buff Will laser holes in ,providing caterham drill them to jig?????????? But Ti is no problem to drill,(do it all the time) Run drill nice and slow and keep it cool, once it gets hot yuuv ad it! Cobalt drills work a treat Will keep you all posted, on progress in a couple of weeks.
pug7
I know Ti can be drilled and like most things it's down to technique But if I can avoid drilling the stuff I do, due to job change I don't have access to free cobalt bits any more.... ! Brushed finished would be nice
RICHCAT7
I am thinking brushed also, And easy to maintain by hand with a bit of scotch on a block every now and then. Should be extremely dent proof also Richard

Quoting RICHCAT7 Does anyone have a spare pair of rear wing stoneguards i could borrow i am thinking Ti ones This is exacly how RiF's CarbonBits business started about 10 years ago. Perhaps you should name your new business 'TitBits' 😬 Can someone lay out the relative properties of Titanium Vs Aluminium? Weight Strength Hardness Malleability Likelyhood of corrosion etc?
