Bent Straight I'm erring on the straight one, so that my arm is a little bit further forward, which will give the passenger a bit more freedom. I fail to see how this will produce quicker shifts just because it does not have the slight bend the CC one has. Same as Anthony, with the standard cranked Sierra-style gear lever, I'm close to clonking my hand on the dash if I select third in a hurry. Harry Flatters Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 WRT quick shifts, the received wisdom (from Phil at R&R, who knows a thing or two about gearboxes) is that these devices can put undue strain on the selector forks, especially on 6sp boxes. I had a Quaife QS and ended up replacing forks on my 6 speeder. Have now reverted to standard shift . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
