Ivaan
My son's 1999 3 cylinder Corsa bottoms out on the rear when there's more then 3 people in the car. I've had a look tonight and see there's no rubber bump stops inside the coil springsmounts, where I would expect them. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a workshop manual. Would anyone know if there should be bump stops fitted? Thanks, Clive.
Englishmaninwales
Check the rear springs are not broken, Clive. This is a common problem and has happened to both of our Corsas. (easy to fix!) Malcolm
Ivaan
Cheers Malcolm, Had a good look yesterday, and didn't notice anything awry. I'll have another butchus tonight. Are there rubber bump stops inside the coil springs? Upper or lower mounting points? Clive.

ncm
Clive, the rear springs sag with age..you will possibly find that the rear beam is contacting the exhaust clamp that holds the rear box on ..mine does 😬
