Tim Smith
Spotted this morning in Guildford. Very tidy looking car but perhaps not the ideal vehicle for pottering around a town centre?
AdC
It's matte black but the concrete dust covering does give it a grey sheen 😬. It's not too bad in town, except for bumpy tarmac or rail crossings - they require leg muscles of steel to lock your accelerator foot into position if you're not to amuse passers by with a bunny hopping spectacular. Paul White
The bunny hopping might be a guildford thing - I can't stop mine whilst going over bumps either 😳
A_redstone
Seen that car and met the owner down on Poole quay this summer.... It's a motorbike engine car too Looked very nice
Tim Smith
Hmm, someone with more knowledge will have to explain the subtle difference between matt black and grey. I'm beginning to think kangarooing is common to all 7s, mine is on roller barrels and does it all the time at low throttle openings. I suppose there's an obvious answer to that but it's slightly impractical in trafffic!
Paul White
Aha! This is my area of expertise I wrap cars (mainly matt black ones at the moment) and different manufacturers have different shades of matt black, some more grey than others. You can also get matt greys but they are very grey and sometimes have a metallic fleck to them. I could waffle on for hours...
