SBD762
I know a lot has been on here with regard to aeros etc. I am a committed aero fan. Unfortunately I have to wear glasses. What do other people who wear glasses wear over the top for protection? Any recommendations? Goggles over glasses or Over Glasses over glasses, What about headgear a well. Any links, recommendations, trade names etc will be much appreciated. If any of you wear a helmet - agin what I'd good what is not in your opinion. Non-aero users need apply!! Eugene
I use Niki ClimaCool sunglasses with prescription inserts. They work very well, even at night with clear lenses. Never use a bash hat on the road. I find it too restrictive for road use - limits understanding of what is happening around you. Also make you look a bit of a twonk... IMHO 😳 I just use buffs for sun and rain protection - one on head, one on neck And a beanie and polar buff if it's very cold 😬 😬 😬
blade_runner
I used to have a pair of prescription Oakleys, which were fantastic, at night I would wear normal glasses on short journeys, or a helmet and normal glasses on longer night drive. Then I had laser eye surgery and now I either wear a pair of Wiley XL's or standard Oakleys.
MartinH
Dixon sports eyewear Tac-3 ballistic lenses with prescription. Had them for two years and they've been great. Better value than some of the other names in my opinion. here Think there is a club discount too.

gundersen
I recently bought a set of Wiley XL-1 prescription sunglasses from opticsplanet, other than being a week late in shipping everything was super and the prescription is spot on. See just as well with them as my normal glasses. Only trouble is, that when the XL's are prescription, you can't change the lenses as you can on normal XL's. pugwash
Same as MartinH above, and I haven't even fitted the aero yet! Waiting for carbon fibre mirrors to arrive from CC and then should be good to go.

StuC
My wife wears glasses, and she keeps a pair of these in the car... Solarshield To be honest, it would amuse me greatly if she would wear one of these instead... Rampmonkey
I'm in the same boat mate. If I'm out for any kind of exuberant fun, then skid lid all the way. However, for a nice potter around the country lanes or for a bit of a blat then I carry ESS ballistic specs. They'll protect your eyes from just about anything. They're the same specs British troops get issued in Afghanistan, and trust me when I say they WILL protect from pretty much anything. Drop me a line and I'll try and source you some if you want.
