johnv
Quoting Jonathan Kay: What is this earthing problem of which you speak? How can switching the fan on cause variation in the gauge reading? How could it be diagnosed? Jonathan I would like to know how to cure this too .. my (stack) oil pressure reading drops by 7psi when the blower fan is switched on .. most disconcerting
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 3, 2012 Member Share Posted August 3, 2012 Is this only happening on cars with Stack displays? Can you measure the supply voltage as you switch the fan on? Does it change? Jonathan

Somewhere there is the antifan that is wired the other way. That's a bit strange, but what's even more amazing is that they are entangled. When you connect yours the other way round it simultaneously changes the wiring to the antifan. This surprises* the antibloke who owns the anti7 to which it's fitted. Next week: vehicle wiring and the Standard Smoke Model. Jonathan *Or unsurprises him, depending on whether he lives in Copenhagen, or in many other places all at the same time.
