robmar
not sure how up to date these are as the Prices are still in the list, and unless a miraculous rebuild... Saturday 22 entries Sunday 38 entries *thumbup* Assume as only class 6 runner I have been amalgamated into class 5 🤔 or is it error 🤔 also see the McFarlane's in class 4 for Sunday, should shake things up a bit 😬 Rob
Area Representative Richard Price Posted July 23, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted July 23, 2012 Quoting robmar: not sure how up to date these are as the Prices are still in the list, and unless a miraculous rebuild... We won't be there ☹️ We only pulled it off the trailer last week...

CaterBram
The list is dated the 15th, so may be a little out of date. I know i've just got the reminder email through saying entries close on the 30th July.
rgrigsby
Hmm all the Class 5 runners are there on the Saturday as well as Sunday apart from me and just to add to the fun I've never completed a competative run at Harewood so this is effectively my first visit. Sgt Pepper
Quoting rgrigsby: .... I've never completed a competitive run at Harewood... Isn't that a euphemism for saying "I've been to the hillclimb school there and know the place very well"
rgrigsby
Not exactly, the only time I've been to Harewood my throttle jammed open on the run down to the first corner so I almost ended up in the barriers at 70mph 😳 I couldn't fix it as the cable had melted so whilst I have technically driven round the course once it was very at a very slow speed
skydragon
The catering arrangements have changed at Harewood this year. The Crusty pie company having been replaced with a Marquee and a new catering company. The will sadly affect my times, as the consuming of a steak and ale pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy, washed down with a can of red bull, was a vital part of my mental preparation for the afternoon's timed runs. The UK's landmass has shifted by some 3cm since last year due to tectonic plate shift and the magnetic pole has also shifted by some 0.6 degrees. This will also affect my times this year as it subtly alters the optimum line round the esses. BP have increased the ethanol content in their unleaded fuel since last year from 5% to around 7%. I'm concerned that this will also affect my times this year.

Charlies Angel
Can you sort out the weather 'up north'. It needs to get a bit hotter before next weekend, so that those ZZZZRRR's get too soft. It's just right for Kumho's down here on the south coast.
David Lynch
Just noticed Entry lists updated with our competitor numbers Chris H-H shown in Class 2B with a few of the BARC Sevens??? CaterBram
hi Dave, Chris H-H Is not registered for the L7C Championship this year so on both event's he's competed at he's run in standard classes.
Nigel Fox
Chris will need a windscreen for entry into a roadgoing class at Harewood.
OliW
Quoting David Lynch: If anyone has a couple of spare tickets for Saturday, gratefully accepted with promise of any trowel seeking photo's being supressed Are we supposed to have received entry related post from the organiser? Englishmaninwales
Quoting Nigel Fox: Chris will need a windscreen for entry into a roadgoing class at Harewood. Is that peculiar to Harewood? Ive entered the roadgoing classes regularily ( at Loton) - never been an issue with an aeroscreen
Nigel Fox
It seems to be a "Northern" thing, but the Harewood regs are quite specific. When I compete in local events it always has to be in the non roadgoing class, in which people are running on slicks.
