Lotus 7 Weight Distribution

Hi, just hoping someone could provide me with some information. I am a final year mechanical engineer at the Uni of Shef and I'm designing an IRS system for a local gentleman who runs a Lotus 7 in hillclimbs and sprint events.

Anyway, what I'm after is approxiamte corner weights for a Lotus 7 (live axle or IRS) as well the location of the CoG and any other relevent information, as I don't have the means to determine them myself- at the moment as his car is in pieces.

Trust you've had a peek at some pics of the Westfield independant rear suspension .... just for research purposes of course?

James Whiting produced an IRS for earlier versions of car, not sure whether L7 or C7.

 

He maybe a good person to talk to either to get hold of some designs or just discuss pitfalls. It's not something he does anymore so there's little contention plus he's very helpful and knowledgeable about all things sevenesque.
