John Hughes
Bonjour Ian Didn't realise it was you. We were a couple of cars behind going down into and through Epernay. Saw you parking up in the garage and it was too busy (and wet) to stop. We came to Epernay on Thursday from little village called Nitry about 20km north of Avallon. Hope the weather improves for the rest of your trip. We are just sitting on the boat in Zeebrugge as it turns round, will be back in Hull in the morning and home for lunch. oldbuffer
Quoting Stationary M25 Traveller: Doug - Pyrenees this year - Switzerland was last year !! On to Millau tomorrow. Ian - and hopefully not last years weather 😬. When you get up the mountains, look up, the European Vultures are an amazing sight. Watch out for the ferral ponies, if you stop (above the tree line) they will immediately use your car as a scratching post!
Stationary M25 Traveller
We had a big French ass and a horse run out of a garden into the road as we drove through a tiny village today !! A bit too close for comfort.
