Harrison L5A Gap Bed Lathe

This is the more desirable large-bore spindle version

2HP 3 Phase motor

Full Screwcutting Gearbox

Spindle speed from 31 to 720 RPM

Speeds vary in RPM from 31 / 45 / 72 / 112 / 207 / 294 / 460 / 720

Forward and Reverse feed for carriage and cross slide.

3 jaw chuck with a spare set of external jaws, and a 4 Jaw Chuck

Tailstock with keyed chuck, morse taper dead centre, a travelling steady, a fixed steady, 4 way tool post, full set of Imperial sized collets and collet holder

 

This is a nice clean and very versatile machine

The overall size is 63" L x 52" H x 27"W including the motor at the back

Weight estimated about 700kgs *eek*

Complete with the maker's handbook.

Lathe

 

Can be supplied with wired in Inverter all ready to attach to your single phase supply for an extra £300

 

 

Hartford Vertical Milling Machine (Bridgeport copy)

3 phase motor, 220v/440v

9” x 42” table

80-2700 rpm

New table power feed

 

This machine is in good condition with a recent strip down and reassembly completed replacing several worn parts (invoices available)

R8 screw fitting = Comes with a selection of cutters

 

These machines were made in China and imported by Hartford into the US as copies of the popular Bridgeport. Pretty much all the parts are interchangeable with Bridgeport.

Note: these machines are heavy and need to be collected. We are happy to help load but do not have the necessary lifting gear so you will need to make arrangements for this.
