Cubicpete
Whilst at a car show today I let a couple of young kids sit in the 7 (as you do), whilst in there they had a good old play with the switches (and horn!). Unfortunately when I left I realised I had lost the use of the indicators completely. The fuses all seem fine (apart from the one I broke checking it ), and the hazards work okay. I also unplugged & plugged in the relay. Any ideas (apart from not letting kids in the car!)? Member Jonathan Kay Posted July 1, 2012 Member Share Posted July 1, 2012 Indicator switch, or wires which should be connected to the switch? Jonathan
AdeC
turn the hazard switch on an off a few times. If it is not completly off the indicators won't work.
Cubicpete
I did wonder about that Jonathon, they did give the switch a bit of a go. I pulled the wires off & reconnected them but no joy. I also managed to drop the retaining ring (which fell under the seat I think), I couldn't find it but did find 20p & the previous owners baseball cap! Cubicpete
Woo hoo I think Ade has it. Just switched the hazards off & on a few times & bingo! Now all I need to do is find the retaining ring and go and buy a fuse to replace the one I broke. Many thanks! Pete
