If you look at the Lens you can see the area that needs to be masked it has a different pattern

Unless you have clear lenses like mine - no marks on the lens.

I have to admit I've never bothered masking them off - and so far, fingers crossed, not been stopped. Never been flashed by oncoming traffic either.

Like they do on any other car - throw light forward 😬

The Caterham headlamp uses an industry standard 7" lamp unit - so you can swop it from sealed beam to halogen easily enough, and use alternative makes of lenses. I'm using Wipac Crystal (I think) ones - clear lenses that work very well. Pretty cheap from one of the on-line Land Rover purveyors - 27 quid I think for a pair.

I bought a set of beam deflectors when I first started driving in Europe, I do about 60,000 miles on the continent each year, have done in succesive roles and succesive vehicles since 1985. First as a Trucker, then a distibution Manager, then a Sales rep, then a courier, then a Trucker again, and for the last 11 years an Exhibition contractor.

Also holidays in a car/4X4/motorhome.

Never fitted them, still in the tool bag just incase.
