AntonyH
Hi, Just wondering - I'm led to understand that running with both doors (i.e. both mirrors) removed is borderline illegal. But it's also great fun. Is there such a thing as a 'temporary' mirror that would, for example, slot into the lower door hinge for those days when doors are unnecessary? Don't really want to set about permanently bolting new mirrors to the car and removing the door mirrors (I guess it would also restrict the door opening). I'm thinking it probably wouldn't involve massive amounts of engineering, just wondered if anyone had already made such a thing. Ta :)

Lotus Boy
I've just bought one of these here for when I drive doors off. I didn't buy from this supplier but they are very nice quality. It clamps onto the leading edge of the stanchion. Must admit I haven't fitted mine to the car yet (literally only just it in the post the other day) but got the idea from seeing one on a Lotus Seven at a car meet a couple of weeks back. Beauty is it could also be your standard mirror if you wanted, not just when you take the doors off - though I have spa mirrors on my doors currently.
