Shaun- absolutely stonking run 😶‍🌫️

 

It shows how much of a wimp I was on through the chicanes which I thought similarly with David's video and especially on the brakes for the last corner.

 

What was your speed prior to hitting the stoppers up the top?

The Stack was showing 102 I think. I need more power :-)

Shame I fluffed that gear change just after the start but I think that probably only cost me 100ths rather than 10ths.

Have a look at the Race Keeper for your top speed.

 

I got to 108.2mph - started to make me twitch

103.6mph according to the Racekeper. The wiggle I got under braking from that speed made me twitch .

Very nice runs all.. Epynt looks interesting especially at 100mph plus on a narrow track and no run off.

 

Was a little twitchy myself yesterday over Avon rise on the stops in 6th. Pleased we won't be going as quick on Saturday. I was already doing 100mph through the grid where we will start.

Finally got around to sorting out my videos,

timed run 3 my fastest run of the day and if you want to know what happens if you hit the brakes at 112mph for the last corner have a look

 

For reference I hit 105mph before braking in timed run 3.

 

It's pretty clear from the videos that I was being very cautious under braking for all the corners which I suspect is where lost most of the time. TBH the videos look like I'm out for a sunday afternoon drive rather than a hill climb 😳
