James_Russell
I have two sets of these 1144 compound pads which are a very good fast road/track pad and a noticable upgrade over standard pads without compromising cold braking. One set brand new, sealed in box and complete with self adhesive anti-rattle backing pads. One set used for two sessions of a trackday at Rockingham. They're barely worn at all and since they were fitted to brand new discs, they are nice and flat. These also come with unused anti-rattle backings because I opted not to fit them. I don't know what the thickness of a brand new pad is, but these four are all between 13.1 and 13.3mm according to my verniers. Picures of the 'used' set: http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s210/James_Russell48/IMG_0752.jpg http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s210/James_Russell48/IMG_0757.jpg Basically I bought a set of 1144s which are softer than the ones I usually use because I wanted better bite from cold and a less agressive 'grab'. However after a couple of sessions at Rockingham it became apparent they were too soft and I didn't get on with them at all. Driving style perhaps? Anyway I took them out and re-fitted my old rock-hard pads. I rang the supplier to ask if their advice and they ended up sending me another set of the same FOC which are on their way to me from Merlin Motorsport now so now I'm selling both sets and aiming to recoup what they've cost me. These cost at least £50 once you've paid vat and p&p, so I'm asking £40 inc. post for the new ones and £25 inc. post for the used ones.
