Krismuss Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 Ade, Having just sold a couple, just be aware if you're going for an 8Gb one that Apple never made a 3rd gen unit (in 8Gb anyway). There's a lot of sellers on Flea Bay that will mislead you. If it's advertised as 3rd Gen it will be a 2nd Gen (as mine was!). Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not really up on the different packages but the 3rd gen bit must come from the versions available as my 8gig is version 3.1.3 which could easily be misconstrued.
