Neil_K Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 If you were to lose the spring from the inside of the brake light switch whilst cleaning it .... .... your average household retractable biro provides not only a perfect fit replacement spring, but with a superior springing action! My brake light switch is now modified and an improvement over the original action 😶🌫️ (and saves 1hr on your hands and knees in the garage, swearing 😬) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Member Jonathan Kay Posted May 17, 2012 Member Share Posted May 17, 2012 :-) The hours I've spent going through ballpoints looking for the right size spring: most recently for a roller blind after the original had done the escape trick.
