Molecular--Bob Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 A very wet looking sevener with no roof in a hail storm. Going up Beech hill Road by the Hallamshire Hospital. I was in the silver Volvo that got in your way halfway up the hill. White with a Blue stripe. Hope you didn't get too wet. If i had left home 5 minutes earlier i would have been in mine and equally wet, but i saw the start of it and thought better of the idea. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got in at the Sir Francis Newton (just had a University Motor Club meeting) as it started to grey over, hail began as I turned onto Glossop Rd. and it stopped as I arrived at home (between School Rd. & Crookesmoor Rd.). Good fun. Sort of. Edit - Didn't really get wet, just hit by hail, but I needed wipers on my glasses! I must admit I was momentarily cursing you having the temerity to be reverse parking (IIRC) into a tight space on a narrow road, but the lady on a bike at the top of Beech Hill Rd. held me up much more 😬 Edited by - Dr Slotter on 15 May 2012 20:55:47 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
