My car broke on Saturday with a damaged clutch :-(

 

But, thanks to Mike, who offered me a dual drive on Sunday I still got to compete at Llys s ! :-)

 

Can't thank you enough Mike; I had a wonderful day and was pleased to not throw your car off the course...much ;-)

 

I think 0.5 secs was a respectful margin to let you beat me by, or should I have left more? :-P ....only joking, I gave it my best shot on the last run and came up short :-)

I think I know why as I am sure I saw Mike switch the Emarald to the 150bhp map 😳 😬

Thanks again to Mike for loan of the "R300" engine to allow me to compete

this weekend. I need to attach the throttle bodies to the underside of the

bonnet, and the Emerald goes under the passenger seat, right?

Well, it wasn't looking too good after practice, so I had to do something

I think the final margin was perfectly acceptable, although as it was your first time there, I don't think I will make the same offer again.

Actually it is quite useful to compare notes after runs - I will have to get my other tyre warmer trained up.
