tom7
Whilst not exactly a technical subject, I dont want to make an 🙆🏻 of myself and knacker up my new racetech wheel. Can anyone give me any tips on drilling for the boss to ensure a nice finish, what fasteners should I use, and should tey be countersunk? Cheers Tom
murph7355
Countersunk yes. Mine are allen key headed nuts and bolts (not sure of the tech term). I believe the usual way to prevent grief on painted surfaces is to cover the area you're drilling with masking tape or some such, and not to use too high a drill speed.
