AshleyBanks
May take a while for the engine to come back 3-4 weeks so may not be ready for when you need it. Don't really want to sell the engine until the new one is in and working. Thats why I havn't advertised it for sale yet.

Stationary M25 Traveller
What has happened - is it fixable, or is something poking through the side of the block ?
Alan Bowler
The latter. Waiting to find out if the DVA head is OK. Suspect not.
Graham Howard
Alan That's really bad luck with only a few weeks to go before the start of the season. Hope you get it sorted quickly. Graham
mikes
Hi Alan, I have a Class 2 & 3 winning 1800 sitting in the garage. Of course with that sort of pedigree it will not be something I expect you to blow up as well . It is EU3 and with a few bits from your 'used' one it should be ready to go. let me know. Cheers Mike
Alan Bowler
Thanks Mike. I would be very happy to blow the cobwebs (but hopefully nothing else ) out of your infamous "R300" engine. AB
mikes
I thought I said you mustn't mention the R300 bit Never mind,I have erased all distinguishing marks so I am sure none of your competitors will bring it up 😬 Mike
Roger Cumming
Oh dear, Alan with 175 brake R300, we might have a few problems guys. Mike I think it should stay in the garage he might blow it up!! Bad luck though Alan, or did you miss read the tacho. Tyres the least of your worries?? Roger
Stuart Miller 7
I don't think class 2 should worry too much. I seem to remember Mike telling me he'd transferred the important internals into the R400 😬 😬 😬 No really, lovely engine from what I remember (thanks again Mike). If you need a hand I'm only 5 minutes down the road from Mike. Stu
