The Wasp
Morning All Just bought from a mate at work 4x13inch Ford "Revolution" style wheels (6jx13xCHx19) and unsed A032's. Do these need a different type of wheel nut than the ones i am using for my 14 inch Minilites. Thanks "Numpty" Wasp

Area Representative manningpaul Posted February 23, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted February 23, 2012 Whenever I have run Revoloution Wheels in the past (all 4 or 5 spoke De Dion) the wheel nuts are a cylindrical shape without a taper and sit inside the wheel, taking up the space between the stud and the hole in the wheel. There should also be a big flat washer that sits between the outer face of the wheel and the nut. I think I might still have a couple and can measure them tomorrow if you like? Regards Paul. The Wasp
Hi Paul, that would make sense - would appreciate any measurements Cheers Simon
Area Representative manningpaul Posted February 24, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted February 24, 2012 Hi Simon, The overall length of the nut is 5 cms. The actual bush part that sits inside the wheel is 3.5cms long, but the thick washer that sits up against the nut head reduces this to 3 cms. Hope this helps and have been trying to remember who eventually bought Revoloution out but it escapes me at present. Have you tried any of the Classic Ford Parts suppliers, I am sure they would be able to help, or if you are going, must be one of the Trade Stands at Race Retro at Stoneleigh that would know where to get them.
