Pierson Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 I know a lot of folks remove this before attaching their boot covers - when my car was rebuilt the garage concerned did precisely this to my new boot cover, too. However, I'd like to put it back in to straighten the leading edge but I didn't get the removed item. I appreciate that I'll have to drill it for the harness bolts and the tonneau popper bases but that's fine - anyone got one sitting in the garage unused? Never did figure out why the need to remove it, other than the hassle of drilling a few more holes in it. Only catch is I won't be able to get to post it until early next week (due to currently being away from home for another week). If that's okay then you're sorted.
