paul cardy
Hi Just wanted to give a shout out for Road & Race Transmissions, this is the second diff they have rebuilt for me and the service and turn around was execellent. I bought a 3,14 ( rare as hens teeth ) ratio diff and had a Titan fitted, when it arrived back the casing looked like new. Paul

Drumster
Blimey, for a moment you had me worried seeing your title in the For sale section
DJ.
When they rebuilt my diff, I was too tight to have it shot blasted, but when I picked it up it still looked much nicer. When I commented on it Phil said something like, well we couldn't let it go out looking like it did. They also cut off the rear Sierra mount for me without being asked, I thought I was going to have to swap the back plate from my original diff onto it. johnnyseven
How much is it to have the backlash/play (if that's what it's called) seen to on a diff? If you don't mind me asking
stevemersey
Encouraging to here as they have my gearbox at the moment for an overhaul and longer first gear. Can't wait to get it back!
DJ.
I don't know that, but a full rebuild with new bearings and seals was £200 + VAT last year. I should give them a call, they were very friendly when I did. Duncan Edited by - DJ. on 22 Feb 2012 20:13:
Stationary M25 Traveller
When they did my gearbox and diff almost two years ago they charged a standard £170 per unit for labour plus whatever parts were needed. Sounds like it hasn't changed much
