Davidmatthews Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Im unsure now ! ,please help and clear this up ,I have got an R300 on order April delivery and have added the interim exhaust catalyst bypass pipe to my order mainly because the demo R300 at c midlands has it and I think it looks better with out the cat !,when I added it to my order was told it would add a little more bhp and be a little louder not much thought,but nothing about having a cat on for mots ? Do they supply the cat then with the car if I have upgraded ? Do not want to keep changing it over ? fred_gustafsson Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I have the same setup and i noticed three thing when i got rid of the cat: the noise is different but not much louder, it seems to rev easier at high revs and most importantly - it shoots flames on the overrun when hot!
