Who use AO32 in 14" ?

Eric,

Can't comment on track use, nor on 13" rims, but 032Rs on the standard 14" (Roadsport) wheel are more than enough for road use. To be honest, I've only got movement out of them when still cold: once warm, they provide so much grip that my bottle runs out first. If I try hard enough I can provoke a slide through tight first/second gear corners, but with only 115 nags from my 1.6k, I have a car that is probably over-tyred. The result, though, is that you don't need to brake for corners.... *wink* ...and the lateral G makes passengers think their world is about to end (in a hedge). To sum up: fast, and bloody good fun.

Does that help?!

the major difference may well be that 14" wheels are plentiful second hand as many have switched to 13". if you are not worried about the last inch (geddit? inch? as in one inch from 14" to 13"? oh, nevermind..) of performance then this could be a good way to save 100 quid or so.

OTOH yokos are cheaper in 13" by 5 to 10 quid or so and this may be the deciding factor.
