K series engine stand framework (from kit delivery)

You know the one I mean, that metal frame thingy that the engine sits in when it's delivered from Caterham in a kit. I could really use one over the next few weeks if anyone not too far away has one I could borrow/buy that fits a K.

Cheers *wavey*

(I've offered some)

Can anyone help us identify the bolt that holds the frame to the engine.

I think I've found one that came with mine (!) and it is 19mm across faces of the head, and just under 12mm od on the thread. M12?

But the Caterham parts site says you need 2 off M14 bolts.

Are all the bolts the same? Or is it 2 of each size?

Thanks

Jonathan

Thanks Jonathan

Further to this, can anyone confirm what it bolts to on the engine? *redface*

From seeing a picture it looks to me like the oval section bolts to the 'wings' at the bottom of the block (flywheel end) and the Y shape part perhaps bolts on where the unused transverse engine mount is at the other end?

These are the crucial bits of information you miss out on when you don't build one from scratch ☹️
