Area Representative marcos59 Posted January 10, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted January 10, 2012 I search an FIA seat for competition purpose here in France. Caterham tillets are not FIA (or perhaps kevlar R500 ones are ?). I'm unable to find a supplier of FIA seat suitable for a caterham Any help appreciated 😶🌫️
Area Representative bluenose Posted January 10, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted January 10, 2012 Both the Caterham tillers, Kevlar and composite are not FIA approved but Tillet do other seats that are. Look on their website for details - Google it. Not sure if MOG Racing do an FIA homologated seat? Nick
NoLimits
Yes you are correct The MOG seat is FIA approved and it fits the 7. We are now the sole main UK Agents for MOG.
Roger Ford
We are now the sole main UK Agents for MOG You need to fix the link on your website. If you click on MOG Racing under Caterham you get to http://www.meteormotorsport.com/caterham/mog-racing, but then if you click on the logo it tries to send you to http://www.mogracing.co.uk/, which doesn't seem to exist (unless it's just me, of course). Racing Snake
Tillett should have their FIA seat available now
catastrada
Mog racing web site is www.mog-racing.com/ I would be surprised they can offer an FIA seat. Tillett is selling the B6F that is FIA compliant. Tillett web site

Mad Hatter
I suppose it comes down to flying the UNION JACK on the back of your Tillett or an Iron Cross of the back of your ME109E reject seat
Roger Ford
B6F is 44cm across. An S3 cockpit is 41.5cm across (or mine is). You can cut the edges off the B6F but then it isn't FIA approved any more.
