James_Russell
Looks like I'm going to need to get one fabricated by ARCH for my car. Last time I had some made I found five other people in the club who wanted one, and that brought the cost per item down quite significantly (over £40 off to approx £80 each inc. vat). On a live axle car, the bar is attached to: -bosses on the underside of the car on the chassis beam which runs below the driver's knees -a threaded boss provided at the front of the sill, where it meets the scuttle panel (the same attachment point as the front leg of the roll cage) -to the roll bar/cage with a clevis which clamps on behind the driver's right shoulder. These are compatible with full cages but if doors are fitted you won't be able to open them!

davedlr
Potentially James... My car doesn't have a rollcage, but as an ex-racer I assume it once did and therefore has mounting points. From your description, the concern I would have is would it fit a car with a lowered floor, as this would obscure the chassis beam which runs below the driver's knees. James_Russell
A couple of pictures to give you all an idea of how they fit... http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s210/James_Russell48/Caterham/Classic/Seventh.jpg http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s210/James_Russell48/Caterham/Classic/IMG_0552.jpg davedlr- I suspect your lowered floor might be an issue. Your chassis will have the correct bosses for it though.
