Carbon fibre nosecone and rear wings

Anybody want to sell an unpainted carbon fibre nosecone for a 97 S3? Also on the look out for carbon fibre rear wings. The objective is not to be the richest plot in the cemetary.

Those rear wings aren't strictly carbon fibre. They're a GRP base with a carbon fibre wrap. From the piccies you can clearly see the black GRP gel coat on the edges. In terms of weight they're a compromise between GRP and carbon fibre. £250 could be a good price but I'm into cutting down weight and willing to pay the extra. Otherwise what's the point.

Chewie, I would have agreed totally with you until I took off TC's cycle wings from her SLR. These are the Mog carbon kevlar ones with the black line that I have always assumed were the carbon lay over a GRP base but when these wings are turned over, the weave of the CF is clear to see and they don't have GRP in them.

 

I'm not saying that the rears are the same but its obvious that not all of the Mog wings are a mix of GRP and CF.

Thanks Phil, the wings are sold. They were carbon fibre and definately not grp with a carbon weave over the top, incredibly light.
