Sheds Moderator Posted December 26, 2011 Share Posted December 26, 2011 I have a model steam engine, not a Mamod toy but a proper piece of engineering, which turns and would run if connected to compressed air, It does require restoration and refurbishment. It is a horizontal engine of approx 12" across, with a slide valve. Made from steel and brass, probably of Stuart Turner design, this company supplied kits of castings for model engineers to complete. Photos follow, it's in Lincolnshire. £50, can post.
