garybee
I'm looking for an LSD unit or complete 3.92 diff' with LSD installed. If you have one that you don't need, please let me know either on here or via PM. Many thanks Gary

garybee
Still on the search for one, does anyone know someone who might be getting rid?
LesG
If you have the earlier type driveshafts, it's dead easy to convert to a standard Ford Sierra 7 inch lsd, and you can pick those up for about £
garybee
Hi Les, I might be ok now actually but I have looked into the Sierra LSDs before with mixed responses. What is the difference between the early and late shafts please and how can I tell which mine are? Gary
LesG
The earlier shafts were modified Sierra shafts (modified by Caterham), and had cylindrical joints on each end. The later shafts are specifically made for Caterham, and have joints with a triangular-shaped housing to them. If you have, or can find, the earlier types, all you need to do is unclip a circlip, remove the slide-in joint, replace with bolt-on lobro, clip in circlip, and sorted!
