Jason Plato Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 1 bulb 1 wire from a bulb to battery +ve 1 wire from bulb to terminal on alternator ignition on = should illuminate bulb crank engine and idle = bulb should go out have you done this simple test ? does the alternator have rubber bush mounts ? - if so you need an earth strap.
