Bricol
So whats happening - Blatchat looks all hunky dory when accessed at home on an evening. But from work - "server unobtainable2 or some such message - both from Netcape and Internet Explorer. As far as I can see there are no problems with banned sites, security - nothing - worked fine oneday - nothing the next! As we are a touch small, there is no IT dept to scramble it up - what going on - does it really dissapper during the day? Any (helpful) suggestions as to what to check? Confused, Bri
deeps
I don't have any probs at work and it doesn't seem many others do. Try reposting this in the Bugs section, Barry will have the answer Deeps Deep down you know it makes sense.
Simos
Blatchat has been hard to hit first thing in the mornings this week. I too have had several failures. It recovers after lunch when the initial screen shows 100+ users online.
Bricol
yorkie cracks don't bother me - I was born in Poole, dorset! Suggestion from our outside IT contractor people is that the server change last week (I believe that was it, wasn' it?) has successfully "firewalled" me out - which I take to mean our firewall will not allow me to access the new server . . . Firewall upgrade also cut me off Radio Le Mans earlier this year! Bugger - dinnertime seems so long now! Bri
