scooby dooby doo
Rob, you're too fast already. You can't have it ❗ Anthony - if its able to run at 9000+ then why limit it to 8500 and shift lights at 7250. Is the power really dropping off by then 🤔 so is the 9000 rpm capability just to ensure reliability at 7250 🤔 HOOPY Today I shall be mostly wanting to go for a blat R706KGU

greg
Anthony, I think you are becoming a traitor to the xflow cause. Who ever buys this will get a stonking engine, I should know as mine is a similar RK engine. Greg, Q 86 NTM (Green 185BHP XF)
R500 CYA
I've driven this car and can assure you the power is most certainly not dropping off at 8500 rpm, I was stunned by how free revving it was, not at all what I was expecting (I'm a K series man myself!) I can also confirm that it was near as damn it as quick as my 200 hp SLR on the straights at Hethel, and was pulling huge rpm on the Lavant straight at Goodwood when my car was running out of puff. It's a very quick engine, sounds lovely and you won't get better. Rob, you would be far far too fast! I would suggest the reason the limiter is set so low and the shift light rediculously low is Anthony's unbelievable amounts of car sympathy. He simply refuses to thrash the nuts of things, he's a perfectionist, he knows every working part of that motor and I think visualises each bit everytime he drives it. And I'm bloody glad he does, otherwise he might be faster than me! Nick
Peter T
Anthony, this sounds a lovely engine, i hope that somebody buys it, as there expectations will be greatly rewarded! X-Flows of this power are great to drive! Have you found you goal yet? C7 PWT X-Flow all Steel
Mat Norris
Anthony, I guess this would need a big radiator to cool yes? Also are you running a live axle - if so whats the life span of the axle with this? tempted more by the day. mat
Anthony
Hi Matt, The car runs a std radiator, with Roger's pressurised/closed water system. Temp levels are always maintained and I have had no issue with cooling Car runs de-dion diff and 3.64 ratio Best regards Anthony X-Flow-power; the real way forward
