CharlesElliott
do you need a complete assembly, or do you have one but with a perished hose? It is possible to replace just the hose yourself....
prangerman
Charles Thanks. The hose looks the worse for age with some splits developing. I would prefer a complete assembly (as part of a bit by bit slow long term refurbishment ) but I confess I had not thought about simply replacing the hose, although ensuring that the hose was properly "crimped" into the fittings would concern me. Sprays of fuel onto a hot engine would test my agility through the full cage... Peter
CharlesElliott
You can cut off the outer crimped fittings and secure the replacement hose with standard hose clamps. Otherwise you are looking at a rather disproportionately expensive part unfortunately.
Stationary M25 Traveller
Could take it to local Pirtek or similar for a while you wait repair.
prangerman
Chris/Ian Thanks - I see a plan emerging. It seems the part itself may no longer be available having trawled the net and phoned several MG/LR/Rover specialist parts suppliers. May look at the breakers route too. Grubbster
2 clips and a bit of hose from Halfords - they supply them in kits specially for this purpose, easy to cut off the crimps and will cost about a fiver.
