bourne17
I am replacing the clutch on my megagrad, is this a standard AP racing clutch? Do AP produce a number of variations? Also where is the best place to get hold of the full kit including the cover and CRB Many thanks
elie boone
Mc Millan would be the best source, he knows the Graduates regs Caterham will surely provide the kit aswel
bourne17
I was hoping to go to Redline for the clutch but I wanted to check the type, does anyone happen to have a part number for the plate used in the graduates?
Roger Ford
There is no specific clutch plate for a Megagraduate. The regs say The standard transmission specification including gearbox, bell-housing, clutch, axle and differential must be retained and all parts must be fitted and assembled correctly. It is permitted to substitute an alternative clutch plate. So it's likely that your car has a standard Caterham K-Series clutch, as fitted to the original Academy-spec car. However, it's possible that an alternate plate of the same dimensions has been fitted at some point.
dalongbloke
Have you spoken to Mick at Redline. Chances are he will know what is suitable.
catastrada
Not related to Megagrad, but as I just removed my engine (Duratec) + gearbox to send the box to R&R, I decided to replace the clutch plate. After a few searches the best price I found was Burton Power (AP Racing CP5352-5 at £66 inc. VAT).
