Alan: The damper is attached below the tube. thanks

 

Lee: Its only for messing around in class 3 sprints next year and do not want to spend any real money on springs. I also am unsure if the dampers are any good as they are 2nd hand.

David,

If it's any help, we're using the standard progressive springs.

They're really quite soft, being rated at 110, then 130, then 200lbs/in (but you can ignore the 200 part, because you only ever go near that part when in extreme bump).

 

My own feeling is that 150 is a little too stiff.
