Hi all,

Need a MFRU for a EU2. Been quoted £240 exchange by a Rover specialist!! any leads on a more econimical supplier before I go the bypass route?

Also need a replacement for a Powervamp PV25, not fussy on make but would like to see if I can pick one up North London / Herts area to save messing around with a carrier etc.

Thank's,

@ndrew

That one on the caterham site looks pretty similar to this one on ebay. Buy it now for £17.19 delivered.

Edit: ebay one says YWB10009, Caterham one says YWB 10022, so perhaps they're not the same. Or maybe one's just a newer part number.

Edit again: almost certainly not the same, from a bit of searching. Seems they're used in minis, and there's a few mini parts suppliers offering the 10022 part for somewhat over £100.

My EU2 came with a yellow label YWB 10022 MFRU, as shown in the Caterham Parts link above. I bought a spare while I was fixing an electrical issue, which turned out to be a duff FIA key. The MFRU came from eBay and is listed for old injection Minis and Metros. There's a couple on eBay at £15+£3 delivery each. I've got one spare, so if you need one to borrow until you source a new one, let me know. *smile*
