jakeandlizzy
I have the following parts that will be going on ebay soon along with a 1.6SS engine (bare-block, head, covers, new HG, coil packs, and a few other bits, no intake or ecu) and a VVC 160 head with valves/springs (both engine/head have less than 30k miles). A VVC 160 head on my 1.8 with a piper blanking kit made ~188 at only 7200 rpm on the rollers at emerald -- cheap upgrade to 190+ (sort of). The bits I have: ************************************ 275lb rear Springs Came off of my RXXX alloy bilsteins (you know, the kind they used to use before cost saving measures as fitted to the R500cc car) In any case, should fit most shocks. Horrible Cambridge roads means I have gone down to a squishy 225 lbs. Work great on the track with suitably stiff front springs and good shocks. £20 ************************************ Piper Valve Springs (k-series Like these here. They have done about 2500 miles max. Look like new! If you have a non-VVC and are looking to get 285/1320 cams or similar, then you need these for piece of mind. Price set at about 50% of retail: £60 plus post ************************************ IACV - £20, low miles (20k or so), works perfectly.
