Tooltips (explanations) for acronyms

On the back of this quite valid point, how about introducing tooltips for common acronyms. Easily done with the element (useful article here which also talks about ). I'd imagine it could happily occur at the same point that you are parsing board mark-up (e.g. links) into formatted HTML, hopefully then cached to avoid re-processing on each request and keep overhead down.
