Tre7or
Hi, would any of you have a pair of front headlamp brackets for sale that would fit my 1995 S3 please. Tre7or
Z3MCJez
I have a pair from a 2008 car, but looking at the Caterham site, there is a suggestion that they changed them in 1998. I know they changed them again last year. Jez
Tre7or
Jez Thanks for coming back to me on the light brackets, would you know if they look much different to the older units? how much do you need for them? Trevor
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted October 19, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted October 19, 2011 Trevor, the later brackets had an extra "leg" that better supported the headlight and attached to the top suspension bolt. I have got the same setup on my 2000 car and the forward mounting of the top wishbone and the suspension top are separate items. The very latest brackets moved the whole assembly from a bracket that inserted through the side of the nosecone (as yours and mine do) to the top of the suspension mount ISTR HTH Nick
Tre7or
Therefore would Jez's brackets be the best bet for me then? Trevor
Z3MCJez
I've got your Blatmail this evening. Sorry - it didn't show up on my blackberry while I was overseas. I'll email tomorrow. Jez
