Drifter
Mine is getting a bit ragged - does anyone have a K Series dipstick for a 2002 car with Apollo if that makes any difference? Caterham/Redline don't seem to stock them anymore
rj
You can use the Sigma dipstick provided you remove the little plastic protective "cover" at the end. Level will be ok when it reaches the curves, not the two cuts used on the Sigma engine.
SUPERLIGHT91
out of interest what colour is the later stick - if its red I might try to get one to replace my yellow topped K-stick as all my under-bonnet trim is red tipped (hoses, exhaust wrap, cable wraps and engine top). ALso I've had a few K-series cars and my first one had an all plastic yellow dip, later ones had a yellow top and stainless dip. There you go some more useless info for you all on dip sticks. rj
Yellow top - otherwise steeless stain.
SUPERLIGHT91
Does anyone know where I can get a red or black plastic or alloy billet top dip stick for the K-series - either black red or silver to match my other engine hardware? If I can get one I can pass on my standard one onto Drifter if he wants it (my '99 1.8k has only covered 7,000 miles so the yellow plastic is pretty clean too). Finally no difference in stick on the Series cars I know of (apollo tank or not), dry sump is a different story though.
