Mankee
I've got a set of four AHC42x100 carbon trumpets from Jenvey just removed from my K-series. They are 42mm diameter and 100mm in height, with a retail of £56+VAT each, giving a price of £268.80 plus delivery. They Jenvey site has just packed up, but you should have been able to view them on this page: click. They are in very good condition overall, being hidden under a filter for most of their lives. I have had to file off some material from the bases to clear my backplate, but this does not affect their fitment or function whatsoever or change their aesthetics. Asking price is £150, including delivery to mainland UK. http://images108.fotki.com/v205/photos/4/42688/906396/DSCF1499-vi.jpg http://images51.fotki.com/v103/photos/4/42688/906396/DSCF1501-vi.jpg

jakeandlizzy
Bargain! If I didn't already have a set I would pick these up -- for the same price as the basic stuff!

jakeandlizzy
I am suprised no one has picked these up yet as they cost so much new. This is what they look like on my 1.6 SS ;) -- but mine have had the lip removed from each for some odd application before I had them. RobW
Carbon intake trumpets !! - now that is 'ultra-carbon-tart-ery' :)
rj
At least for a while 42mm were only available in carbon. Don't know if this has changed.
jakeandlizzy
That is correct -- they used some spacers (kind of like what you see on my engine above) to adapt from 45-42.
Mankee
Cheers for the comments guys. I am quite surprised that they haven't sold yet too. Bunged them on eBay but with an additional postage cost. Free postage for a club member still stands.
jakeandlizzy
Link here Also, you may want to edit it to have 'Caterham' and 'Elise' in the title. I can also put this up on Seloc for you?
Mankee
Good call about the title, Jake. I might try and cram in some more keywords somehow, but I assumed that the bolt spacing means they'll fit any sort of Jenvey throttle body, as well as others? That'd be great if you could put it on SELOC. eBay is absolutely doing my head in at the moment. How many w*nkers can you get trying to bid on a flipping fan for a Spaxo or asking how much to end items early and then expecting me to give them away for nothing? Grr.
