Area Representative Richard Price Posted October 10, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted October 10, 2011 I said at the time that I didn't think that my T1 time was right (I knew it wan't right 😳) As I rounded the last corner, I could see the clock, and see it counting 65,66... (a stop watch on the video confirms this) I then lost sight of the clock, and when I went past the timing gear, the clock would have been saying 67.xx, so the recorded time of 72.36 is clearly wrong! Video evidence . . . . . . . . . . It's such a shame I was on the grass going backwards..............

Mark Gibson
I just wanted to add my congratulations to all the other class winners this weekend - in particular to Tom Price for adding the Class 3 championship title to his Novice championship title from last year. The first of many to come I am sure. Much less spectacular than Richard's efforts - but my winning run on a greasy track (honest!) from Saturday is Suzanne was fastest lady on both days with some great runs so we both had a great weekend. Thanks to everyone for some great competition at fantastic venues along with some great socialising opportunites. We will hopefully see most of you for the Awards Dinner in November
Charlies Angel
It was comedy timing gear anyway........one of my favourite moments of the weekend was Class 4 solemnly telling each other that their run was 74 sec..............some were happy, some were disappointed; but at least it was fair! robmar
Richard I thought for a moment you where going ot have another go at trying the last corner as you slid across the grass back onto the track on other side 😬 I guess we where due a Anglessey that was a little damp rob
Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted October 10, 2011 Leadership Team Share Posted October 10, 2011 Thanks for sharing Richard I did consider a compilation of my weekend's spins, but decided it would be so long that nobody would be able to stay awake to the end Michael.
