Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted October 4, 2002 Leadership Team Share Posted October 4, 2002 All, Have just noticed that the SPA fire extinguisher which I fitted 3 years ago has now passed the "best before" date written on the side of it. Is it economically viable to have them refilled, or is it a chuck it away job? If they can be re-primed, who offers this service in Berkshire/South East? Thanks, Michael. ChrisC
I know of a company in the Essex area that visits other companies sites to recharge fire extinguishers, can’t see why a SPA/Car one would be any different. Chris.
F355GTS
Don't know anybody that refills them however new ones are circa £50 from Lifeline http://www.lifeline-fire.co.uk/products/handheld.htm Mark
Tonycaterham
I had my extinguisher re-filled by Merlin Motorsport www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/ based at Castle Combe race cicuit (near Bristol). If you tell them you are coming and it is a quiet day, then they can do it while you wait. Tony
